Hi,

I installed Ubuntu Studio 16.04.02 on my machine and wanted to configure and
compile Muse3 from the git repository, but the configuration fails (error
messages see further below).

I cannot use "cmake i" anymore in this Ubuntu Studio version, instead I have
to use the command "ccmake <directory> to configure Muse3 and generate its
programme files.

This is what the configuration process with ccmake detected / what I specified
as configuration parameters:

Hi again,

I should have sent my first mail regarding this issue (see below) to the
developers list, too. Here is my mail now on both mailing lists, plus an extra
information:

Update: I activated Lash in the configuration menu of ccmake, before that I
installed the packages liblash-compat-1debian0 and liblash-compat-dev. Now
Lash is not shown as not activated anymore in the output window of the
configure process of ccmake, but the problem regarding the file all.h and so on
still exists, so I cannot compile the Muse files.

Regards,

Jens

Hi Tim,

For the third time I downloaded the source code of Muse3 from the git
repository and downloaded it into an empty folder.

Then I created a subdirectory in the muse/muse3 folder, changed into this
subdirectory and ran "ccmake ./..", set or changed parameters in the
configuration window of ccmake, then pressed "c" (configure), no error messages
were displayed as the result of this process, so the "g" option (generate) was
displayed in the ccmake window. I pressed "g", then "make" and "sudo make
install", and Muse3 was successfully configured, compiled and installed.

Thanks, Tim.

Regards,

Jens
